Draft, pending counsel review

Terms of use.

Draft · Last updated 11 August 2026

These terms are written in plain language on purpose. If a line here is unclear, that is our failure; ask us before you rely on it. They cover this website. The Wick app carries its own terms, which you read and accept when you sign up.

Who we are

Wick is built and operated by Wick Labs and Studios Limited, a Nigerian company. In these terms, Wick, we and us mean that company.

What Wick is

Wick is software. Its robots trade on your own broker account, under a strategy subscription you configured, with controls only you hold. Wick is not a bank, not a broker, not a fund, and not an asset manager. We never accept deposits, we never hold your funds, and we have no path to withdraw money from your account.

What Wick is not

Nothing on this site, in the app, on the record, or in any Wick channel is investment advice or a recommendation to trade. The record reports what each trade did, in the money it made or lost, and never as a promise of what the next one will do. You alone decide whether to run the software, at what risk, and with how much money.

The public record

By design, every trade Wick's robots take is published to a public, append-only record before its outcome is known. Nobody can edit or delete an entry afterwards, including us. The record carries trade facts and what each trade did, in the money it made or lost. It is built to never carry your name, your contact details, or your account balance.

Your responsibilities

Risk

Trading involves real risk of loss. The Risk page is part of these terms; read it before you start. Never trade with money you cannot afford to lose.

Fees

Wick charges a flat fee for the software. There is no percentage of profits and no performance fee, ever. Nothing on this site accepts money yet. When it does, the exact price, the billing period, and the cancellation and refund terms will be stated plainly on the payment page before you pay, and from that day they form part of these terms.

The software

We work to keep Wick correct, safe, and running. Still, software fails, brokers fail, markets gap, and connections drop. Wick is provided as it is, without a promise of uninterrupted service and without a guarantee of any trading result. The automatic safety stops exist to limit damage, and they also cannot remove risk.

What we owe you if things go wrong

To the fullest extent Nigerian law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the fees you actually paid us in the twelve months before the event you complain of. We are not liable for trading losses: the robots trade at the risk you set, on the account you control. Nothing in these terms removes a liability that the law says cannot be removed.

Ending things

You can stop at any time: pause the robots, stop paying, remove the software. We can suspend or end service for abuse of these terms, for non-payment, or where the law requires it. If we end a paid period early through no fault of yours, the refund terms stated on the payment page when you paid will apply.

Changes to these terms

These are draft terms, pending counsel review, and they will change before anything is sold. When they change, the date at the top changes with them, and material changes will be announced in Wick's channels before they take effect.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and Nigerian courts have jurisdiction over disputes. Talk to us first; most problems are fixed faster by people than by courts.

Reaching us

Until launch, reach us through the WhatsApp community linked on the home page. A dedicated contact address will be published on this page before anything is sold.
