This page says what we collect, why, where it lives, and what we will never do with it. It is written plainly, because a privacy policy you cannot read protects nobody.
Who is responsible
Wick Labs and Studios Limited, a Nigerian company, is the data controller for this site. The Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 applies to us, and this page is written to honour it.
What we collect today
The waitlist form: your name, WhatsApp number, email address, and whether you trade currently. That is everything this site collects about you today, plus cookieless visit counts from our hosting provider that do not identify you.
Why we collect it
To tell you about Wick: cohort openings, launch news, the record. Nothing else. We message you only about Wick, and you can leave at any time by asking to be removed.
Where it lives
The waitlist is stored with our database provider, Supabase, and this site is served by Vercel. Both keep data on servers outside Nigeria. We keep what we collect small, so what leaves the country is small.
What we never do
We never sell your data. We never run advertising trackers on this site. We never ask for your broker password, and we never hold your money: the robots trade on your own broker account and your funds stay with your broker. We make our money from a flat software fee, never a percentage of your profits and never a performance fee, not from your data.
The public record
Every trade Wick's robots take is published to a public record before its outcome is known, and what each trade did is reported there in the money it made or lost, never as a promise. The record carries trade facts: instrument, direction, prices, times, result. It is built to never carry your name, your contact details, or your account balance.
Record entries cannot be edited or deleted once written. That permanence is what makes the record worth trusting, and it is exactly why personal data is kept off it in the first place.
Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. For waitlist data we simply do it: ask through the community channel on the home page. If you believe we have failed you, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
How long we keep things
We keep waitlist data until you ask to be removed or until the waitlist has served its purpose, and then we delete it.
Children
Wick is not for anyone under 18. If a child has joined the waitlist, tell us and we will remove the entry.
Changes
This is a draft policy, pending counsel review, and it will change before launch. The date at the top will always tell you when it last changed, and material changes will be announced before they take effect.
